We spoke to students and asked them for top tips on 'keeping your head in the game' during the summer break.
This is what they had to say...
1. Get in touch with your lecturers and ask for reading to do over the break that will link to your upcoming modules
2. Re-read assignment feedback and create an action plan to address it. You might even want to think about looking through the library study skills to see if there are any short courses you can do.
3. Think about volunteering. Get online and see what opportunities are available, or even speak to Careers at the uni.
4. Read, read, read!!
5. Start and think about the job you really want and how your modules can be linked. Start thinking about the skills the modules give you and update your CV.
6. Organise old notes and see where they might help during the next semester because everything is relevant in some way or another.
7. Make a reading plan.
8. Make time for yourself and enjoy some 'you' time with friends.
9. Start and plan out your research project. Make lots of mind maps.
10. Find a summer study buddy and set goals between yourselves.
